5 Star rating!  Why is that so important?       How can you find the best VRBO condos and make sure you vacation is all that you dreamed of?   Start and end with the reviews.  Make sure you see an Exceptional rating because that means ALL 5 Stars!  If there is a review under 5 stars in a condo your are considering, shudder, look to see how the owner responded.  Does it feel like a genuine response from a caring owner or is it a copy pasted response from a management company? If it feels like they don't care, they won't care for you if you have a problem during your stay.
